Formerly of Spirer-Somes Jewelers, Daniel R. Spirer has been serving customers in the greater Boston area for over 23 years.

Daniel R. Spirer earned a Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), certifications in GIA Diamond Grading Course, Colored Stone Grading Course, Pearl Grading Courses and the GIA Appraisal Course. Spirer isa member of the American Gem Trade Association, the Jewelers Vigilance Committee, and the Jewelers Security Alliance. Currently Spirer edits Bench Magazine and E-Bench; both jewelers’ newsletters. Previously he has contributed to Jewelers Circular Keystone, Colored Stone magazine and Lapidary Journal.
